This is by far the best plant nursery I’ve worked with. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and always willing to take the time to answer questions and provide recommendations. They genuinely care about their customers and make sure you have everything you need for a successful landscape project. Highly recommend! Silvia and Justin are very helpful.

We purchased a Chinese Pistache tree. Joe was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in making the selection. The company was patient with us as we had to wait for approval from our HOA. Our installer picked up the tree the following day and it looks fabulous in our front yard. Thank you Joe and everyone at Shades of Texas.

Five stars! I have been looking all over the Houston Metropolitan area for a Ligustrum Japanocum Texanum, and this location had sizes that varied, which Houston Garden Center did not have. What I like is that you can use your car to drive to the plants that you need,, while following the associate in a go-cart. This makes it easier and faster checkout. If you are using a truck, even better. The associates are attentive at their work. I’ve been to so many nurseries in Houston, and I was really impressed with this location. I came here as just a regular customer. This location is open to the general public on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
